Annual Christmas Dinner

Each year, St. Mary’s hosts a Christmas Dinner. Food is provided by parish member and each year we feed over 150 people.

This dinner is free and you may wish to come and enjoy the company of others but we also deliver should you be unable to join us.

Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

March 5, 2019

Cost $8/person, $4 for 2-12 years old and kids under 2 years eat Free

Full supper of Golden Flapjacks, Bacon and Sausage with syrup and butter, coffee and tea.

WHY: Because you deserve a break today…and it’s SHROVE TUESDAY!! There is a play room for the kids and lots of food! Bring a friend or two and have some fun at a Shrove Tuesday old-fashioned supper, cooked by the Men-folk!


Bible Study

RESUMES:  May 1st, 2019 following our conclusion of the Lenten Study on the book of “Surprised by Hope:  Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church” written by N.T. Wright

A small group meets weekly in an interactive and educational bible study.

St. Mary’s Clothing Closet

RE-OPENED -> Church lower level, 139 Castor Street, Russell ON

This Ministry provides gently-worn free clothing (donations accepted) to men, women, and children.  Operated by church volunteers.

Hours of Operation: 

Wednesday from 11:00am to 4:00pm & 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm

SMR Fitness

This Ministry offers a fun filled fitness program to men, women and children of all ages.  This program will provide you with cardio, strengthening and flexibility within your own level of fitness.

When:      Friday’s from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where:    St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Church Hall
Fee:          $5.00 / session

Victoria’s Quilts

This dedicated and large group of quilters gathers each Friday to design and sew quilts that are provided to people who have been diagnosed with cancer. Each year, over 300 quilts are produced. Each quilt is blessed at a Sunday service at St. Mary’s before being delivered.

When:      Friday’s from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
